2.4.23-pre8 included a bunch of new ACPI fixes which went in there for testing. Is the problem still occuring with a vanilla 2.4.23 kernel? No, the problem doesn't occur with a vanilla 2.4.23 kernel. That's what I'm running now. At first, I ran the vanilla without any patches and I'm currently running it with the latest acpi patch. None have problems except that they don't work with hsfmodem, but that's not their fault :-) err, I don't maintain gss, don't assign to me Let us know if you are still having trouble with 2.4.25_pre7 |
