Hi Alex, The USE business is a work in progress. You are correct in that the two devs who wrote those howtos should talk about it. My USE howto is still incomplete, as I myself am a little unsure of certain flags. Thanks for catching this bug :) postfix-1.1.11.20020822 has been released into portage. It is currently masked. Right now it has support for tls and tls+ipv6. SASL support is coming "Real Soon Now"... I will post on this bug report when I get support added in. sasl support has been added to the postfix.1.1.11.20020822.ebuild and released into portage. All the use.defaults files have also been updated with sasl referencecs. How long are we off from updated use variable documentation? postfix-1.1.11.20020917 has been released into portage. This version also supports sasl. see /usr/portage/profiles/use.desc for a full listing of supported use variables see /etc/make.profile/make.defaults for the default use variables enabled on your system. |
