There are no prebuilt pptpclient packages available yet; I'll ask to include those in the next release. I believe users should also be using USE="-tcltk" emerge pptpclient because otherwise XFree and other big builds will be included... Yes, you are right. Its better to USE="-tcltk". Also USE="crypt" is necessary for those who require mppe support, or else crypt can be excluded too. I'm marking this as LATER, let us first see if 2004.1 has pptpclient support again because it seems like there were some mockups in 2004.0... Closing this bug as per Josh's request in gentoo-doc's ML. |
