See bug #32737 for more information on the problems with building external modules with 2.6 kernels. Newer versions of linux-wlan-ng have that missing file problem fixed, but still have issues with sandbox violations caused by the 2.6 kbuild stuff. For now installing linux-wlan-ng -pre16 by hand is sadly one of the better ways to handle things with a 2.6 kernel. removing this.. don't think anyone cares after so long ;) It's definitely *NOT* that no one cares. If you'd see bug #32737, pretty much the only thing i've been working on is getting 2.6 and kernel modules working well. As for mm-sources, it's suggested on #32737 and on other bugs, that for now all you need to do is disable sandbox. I don't know if the "no one cares" was serious or not, but believe me, this matters to me. |
