i know this bug is pretty old, but still not resolved. i just added ebuild for tbs firmware to my gentoo overlay (fordfrog) and also an attempt of packaging tbs kernel modules, but they need much more work and the tbs modules ebuild might not even work. and if it does, it installs everything packaged, not just the tbs drivers (mainly tbs_pcie-dvb for pcie devices and others for usb devices).
