Should I provide the similiar screenshot in English locale?
It *could* be fixed in our end but it *should* be fixed at upstream level. 1. emerge tango-icon-theme (to get freedesktop.org standard icon theme) 2. select Tango as your icon theme 3. If you still see the icon missing, report this to http://bugzilla.xfce.org/ (In reply to comment #2) > It *could* be fixed in our end but it *should* be fixed at upstream level. > > 1. emerge tango-icon-theme (to get freedesktop.org standard icon theme) > 2. select Tango as your icon theme > 3. If you still see the icon missing, report this to http://bugzilla.xfce.org/ > Thank you. For 4 checked icon themes the results are: If selected Tango icon theme (or x11-themes/xfce4-icon-theme aka Rodent) this icon is displayed correctly (but both of them looks rather ugly to my taste). If selected standart (built in?) GNOME theme (my favourite) or x11-themes/xfce-gant-icon-theme the E-mail client icon in quick launch section is missed. What is correct upstream bugzilla in case of such issue? But gnome-icon-theme and xfce-gant-icon-theme lacks the icon. Tango is the freedesktop.org standard full icon theme, and has the icon, so it's proper. We can't prevent users from installing incomplete icon themes obviously :) You can of course contact gnome-icon-theme and xfce-gant-icon-theme maintainers (upstream maintainers, not in gentoo bugzilla) and ask for them to add new icon to their themepack. |
