+1 from me. Good work guys, let's revive this subproject. Ok, the mail list is working. Now it needs to be listed on http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/lists.xml again. Now I need to get someone to update that stale project page. I think I have a {ahem} "volunteer" to draft for that. "re-activate" ? The list was never closed by infra. gentoo-guis was never on the lists.xml page it seems, I checked all of the CVS history. What list description should be present? darside, I'll chalk it up to google spamming mjlm's replies and me missing them. I nearly did again this last time. I've found google sometimes has a time delay on spam before it shows. As for the description... how about: Gentoo specific gius development, discussion and user support. should be short enough, but still describe it :) Also, related, the link to the project webpage is not there either. only way to find it is from google or the topic in #gentoo-guis http://gentoo.org/proj/en/guis Possibly should be a subproject of desktop. Thank you :) (In reply to comment #5) > As for the description... how about: > > Gentoo specific gius development, discussion and user support. added to http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/lists.xml > > should be short enough, but still describe it :) > > Also, related, the link to the project webpage is not there either. only way to > find it is from google or the topic in #gentoo-guis > > http://gentoo.org/proj/en/guis > > Possibly should be a subproject of desktop. Can you make this a new bug that isn't assigned to infra, or bug someone in #gentoo-desktop to get it done for you (alternatively get commit access yourself if you foresee more involvement ;) ) > > Thank you :) > |
