If you run "ls /etc/hp/" I bet you get something like this ._cfg0000_hplip.conf hplip.conf The version string used for all hplip tools is stored in this (/etc/hp/hplip.conf) config file which you have not yet updated by using etc-update, dispatch-conf or the like. Indeed. I found find it so strange that they would store the version in the config file that I didn't even thought of that. Sorry for that and thanks for helping me. Best regards |
