whenever I run dmenu it hangs without doing anything

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install dmenu
2. Run it
Actual Results:  
dmenu hangs without doing anything

Expected Results:  
menu should appear

strace output attached. Note it hangs in a read() call

Also, what command did you run? Running dmenu expects some input. Please read the man page.

Yeah. My bad, should have been running dmenu_run ofc.
