The net-misc/wicd package doesn't run (not even the wicd-curses, or wicd-cli version), complaing about the lack of the gobject module.

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
Emerge should install gobject.

net-misc/wicd 1.7.0 with: gtk ncurses nls pm-utils -X -ioctl -libnotify

And how did you install pygtk, while skipping pygobject ?

pygtk isn't installed.

OK, I see what the problem is: 'X' useflag seems redundant in the ebuild,
as your problem seems to be USE="-X gtk"
