As that seems to be your mask, you need to take dev-ml/lablgtk-2.14.2 out of it, cause in this version, this particular problem was fixed. Though, perhaps it's time to remove those older versions from portage for this particular reason ? You should probably remove it from package.mask. Thanks and regards I'd say your problem is INVALID - lablgtk-2.14.2 is not masked and it's even stable on all common arches - check your own package.mask.
