When using module-detect, list-sinks and list-sources listed all available sources and sinks.

When using module-hal-detect, only the current default source and sink are listed with list-sinks and list-sources.  It would be more useful if all sources and sinks available were listed.

This led to much aggravation and bug report 298613.
