- Anything "mozilla eclass based" from rindex list is now bug 350521. - gnomeradio is hardware oriented but it's accessing v4l1 and v4l2 on it's own, doesn't need HAL from gnome-vfs to do that (or even use it) - gnomevfs-mount is now p.masked Looks like "--disable-hal" is already being used in debian, maybe we could to the same in the near future :-| (In reply to comment #2) > Looks like "--disable-hal" is already being used in debian, maybe we could to > the same in the near future :-| > Why not now? Nothing from the rindex list appear to need it, or do you have information saying otherwise? Because I don't have time for doing it right now ;-) Created attachment 263709 [details, diff]
Patch to pass --disable-hal
ok to commit?
0:53 <@pacho2> ssuominen: about bug 350516 -> since it would be a new revbump and looks like nothing in the tree needs gnome-vfs[hal], I see no problem on committing it ^^ +*gnome-vfs-2.24.4-r1 (24 Feb 2011) + + 24 Feb 2011; Samuli Suominen <ssuominen@gentoo.org> + +gnome-vfs-2.24.4-r1.ebuild: + Remove USE="hal" and pass --disable-hal wrt #350516. |
