For this particular issue, # emerge -1 dev-perl/Locale-gettext But you should do what Comment #2 suggests, use perl-cleaner --all. It's possible that perl-cleaner was not given on that machine. After doing it, and consequently rebuilding Locale-gettext everything was ok. Thank you for your answer This just happened with sys-apps/help2man-1.44.1 on my machine when I used 'perl-cleander --all' . The problem is, that a world update was not finished completely when I started perl-cleaner. perl-cleaner adds help2man (and about 150 other) to the packages it emerges. Obvoiusly the order of installed packages is calculated wrong here - the very first is help2man and not the perl stuff. I had '--update' in my EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS. Removing it helped. So EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS="--deep --with-bdeps=y --complete-graph" perl-cleaner --all does only do the pearl cleaning, successfully. After that it was possible to continue the world update. |
