which ratpoint version? 1.3.0-beta3 among applications that freek out is xine-ui Are there any particular websites that set this off? I'm not sure if this is the same problem, but I'm using MozillaFirebird with fluxbox and the problem occurs when: 1) I put the cursor in the address bar 2) I move the mouse over the page 3) I switch to another workspace 4) I switch back to the workspace with MozillaFirebird (and no other apps) 5) I try to type in the address bar After having compiled MozillaFirebird about 10 times with different switches for configure, I noticed that the problem disappears if I don't use gtk2 as the default toolkit (--enable-default-toolkit=gtk2). Try emerging firebird like this: USE="-gtk2" emerge mozilla-firebird Please let me know if that fixes the problem. If it does, I would like to get some help from someone more experienced with gtk2 to find out if the problem is in gtk2 itself. Griffon26, I'd suggest trying a different bug for this. fluxbox and mozilla have a fun history, and this probably more due to a focus issue (or has been in my experience) than anything. You might try using alt+tab to see if this makes fluxbox play nicer with mozilla (this applies to firebird as well). suddenly i don't have no problems anymore. Reporter can no longer reproduce, closing. |
