In the failsafe session you can run startkde and watch its output. I encountered the same problem after upgrade from KDE 4.5.4 to 4.5.5. KDM segfaults right after login: kdm[1651]: segfault at 0 ip (null) sp 00007fffadb503d8 error 14 in kdm[400000+29000]. I still can run fully functional KDE running startx. Please try kde-4.6.0 and report back... Old kde version, no reply for over a month... |
