I can't reproduce this. All of Gentoo infra runs hardened and LDAP. Please see the new slaptest changes in 2.4.28-r1. It's probably a bug in your ldap config, or the ownership on your files. Turn up your logging level and read the logs when running slapd outside the init.d script, with the same args. Bug is greater than one year old. Likely it was accidentally fixed in the meantime. I will be doing no further tests for this bug. |
