Description waynedpj 2010-12-30 02:06:28 UTC
there is a nice program that integrates with Nautilus to change folder icons into previews depending on the contents called "Cover Thumbnailer":

http://software.flogisoft.com/cover-thumbnailer/en/

i have downloaded and installed the program via the usual Makefile method, and it works very well on my Gentoo box (amd64, mainly stable).

would it be possible to get this added to the Portage tree? seems like it would be a useful addition to Nautilus for Gentoo users.

thanks.

Reproducible: Always

Ebuild for gnome-extra/cover-thumbnailer-0.8.2 [GNOME2]

Ebuild for cover-thumbnailer-0.8.2, which is the latest to support nautilus-2. Tested on amd64 and is working fine.

Ebuild for gnome-extra/cover-thumbnailer-0.8.3 [GNOME3]

Ebuild for cover-thumbnailer-0.8.3, which is the first one to support nautilus-3. I cannot test this one because I don't have access to a working nautilus-3, but this ebuild follows the steps of the provided install script so it should just work.

It works for me with gnome-base/nautilus-3.2.1

Thanks for the ebuild.
