Description Dirkjan Ochtman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-21 08:45:43 UTC
I recently upgraded my PHP, and was surprised to discover that my usual php.ini tweaks hadn't made it into the new setup. Something should tell me to take care of this (or better yet, take care of it for me).

This is described in the upgrade guide that is linked to from the php ebuild log.

can't reliably "copy" it, so..left for the user to ensure that the settings are correct.
Comment 3 Dirkjan Ochtman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-28 07:39:19 UTC
And it wouldn't be possible to give a hint about this in the elog? Just one sentence would make it possible to not kill the PHP installation if you forget to look at the upgrading guide (or skim it). I somehow missed the upgrade guide and I usually pay attention to the elog messages...
