i'm hitting a crash on shutdown for polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1

situation is the same decribed here:

in the $URL i put the redhat bug where they look to have it fixed

an option is the bump polkit-kde to latest 0.96 revision

just an hint: no problems with kde 4.6.rc1 release and relative deps

there is no polkit-kde 0.96 version. 

what's your polkit-qt version? could you please try going to the newest available there?!

i'm now using kde 4.6.0 environment and all works fine.

stable KDE (4.4.5) is still affected by this. Any chance of a backport of the fix?

Still seeing this in KDE 4.5 on amd64 stable:

Just migrate to 4.6 and polkit-kde-agent.

That's not an option. KDE 4.6 has not been stabilized yet. It would be trading this one bug for random other bugs.
