For further conviction, see to-be-attached build log.

The flags are --with-modules=<dirname> and --with-encryption. This seems to indicate that upstream may have renamed these flags and possibly changed the semantics of other flags.

Fixed in 1.8.7 which is in the tree.
Please note the info when installing, since anope has moved out of /opt :)
