Ebuild and patches are attached. I think this is a painful process, as a
binary tarball should be sufficient. I had attached it as text as well.

It should have been CC?=gcc and CXX?=g++
I have updated the patch.
Has this fallen into the abyss? did you make that ppc-patch ? if so, why ? :) looking at it, i dont see what it fixes also, moving stuff to the makefile just makes cross-platform support a nightmare in this case, the ebuild would not work on a ppc because the linux-gentoo target includes x86 asm options and x86 specific cflags Created attachment 22022 [details]
