Empathy fails silently. Starting Empathy from a tty yields: GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.Empathy' is not installed

No Empathy schema in "/etc/gconf/schemas"

Only schema found in "/usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas" : org.gnome.Empathy.gschema.xml

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start empathy 2.32.2
2.Fails silently
3.

Actual Results:  
When starting in tty: GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.Empathy' is not installed

Expected Results:  
Empathy start
