sylpheed is capable of support ldap lookups.

adding
ldap? ( >=net-nds/openldap-2.0.11 )
to DEPEND and RDEPND (acutally, not sure of minimum supprt version)

and 
use ldap && myconf="$myconf --enable-ldap"

would be nice.
