Created attachment 256378 [details, diff] patch for enblend-4.0.ebuild fixing the dependency This patch comes after the one from bug #347786. media-fonts/freefont-ttf is gone from tree, besides, is any of that still relevant for >=media-gfx/enblend-4.1.3-r1? I am not concerned anymore, feel free to close it as obsolete. It was a minor documentation problem anyway, not blocking the build. Thanks for checking back. |
Generating docs of media-gfx/enblend-4.0 requires freefont-ttf, otherwise it uses wrong font for graph labels. Moreover, the path to freefonts has to be passed to configure. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install media-gfx/enblend-4.0 w/ USE=doc. Actual Results: Wrong font used for the labels of graphs in the pdf manuals. The install log contains warnings like: ... GDFONTPATH=${GDFONTPATH:-/opt/local/share/fonts/freefont-ttf:/sw/share/fonts/freefont-ttf:/usr/X11/lib/X11/fonts/TTF:/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF:/usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont} /usr/bin/gnuplot entropy.gp Could not find/open font when opening font FreeSans, trying default Could not find/open font when opening font "arial", using internal non-scalable font ... This trivial bug in the docs generation is related to bug #334331 and bug #347786.
