The bug report in the URL gives a patch for a compatibility issue in xmlrpclib.  I noticed the problem because yolk and dependencies (yolk-portage, g-pypi) didn't work.  I applied the patch, and yolk now works.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge python:2.7
2. emerge yolk
3. yolk -D unipath 

Actual Results:  
Fails due to xmlrpc transport call missing.


The listed patch fixes the issue for me.

Can you test if this has been fixed in 2.7.1?

This was with python 2.7.1.  I haven't tried it with 2.7.2 pre.

Fixed in 2.7.1-r1.
