(In reply to comment #0) > The emerging of dev-lang/python-2.7.1, set the default python version to 2.7. We're in the process of turning that behavior off these very days. > When running python-updater following this, for packages which support both > python 2 & 3, only python-2.7 & python-3.1 support are being built. Please 1) Add a line like USE_PYTHON="2.6 2.7 3.1" to /etc/make.conf. Put any slot in there that you want Python modules for. 2) Run python-updater. After that, any Python package should be available with the biggest possible subset of what you specified. 3) Report back, how that worked for you. I will now address two off-topic things I spot in your other information. > gmdev ~ # emerge --info > WARNING: One or more repositories have missing repo_name entries: > > /var/lib/layman/liquidx/profiles/repo_name > > NOTE: Each repo_name entry should be a plain text file containing a > unique name for the repository on the first line. As I can see here http://overlays.gentoo.org/dev/liquidx/timeline?from=12%2F01%2F10&daysback=10000&changeset=on&wiki=on&update=Update that overlay was last updated four years ago - it's maintainer retired since then. Please contact me (sping@g.o.) or the overlays team (overlays@g.o.) telling what ebuilds are of use to you from that overlay, so we can migrate that to a more vivid place. Thanks! > Portage 2.2.0_alpha6 (default/linux/x86/10.0/desktop/gnome, gcc-4.5.1, > glibc-2.12.1-r3, 2.6.36-gentoo-r1 i686) You may want to update your Kernel to 2.6.36-gentoo-r3, in case you forgot to update. Otherwise just ignore me. Best, Sebastian *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 347639 *** |
