Why is this not in portage?
Comment 6 Stanislav Karchebny 2004-04-20 10:34:10 UTC
a) because no one cares?
b) there's 1.6b1 out already and i have ebuilds for it of course =)
Comment 7 Stuart Herbert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-04-20 12:21:37 UTC
It's not in Portage because we don't have enough developers working on web-based apps right now. We'll be announcing a recruitment drive shortly.

Best regards,
Stu

Hi,

Sorry - we can't accept your ebuild at the moment.

We can only accept ebuilds that the Gentoo developers can actively
support and maintain. Unfortunately, we currently don't have a Gentoo
developer who is willing to take on this ebuild.

If you really want to see your ebuild become part of Gentoo, then the
best way is to become a Gentoo volunteer yourself. You can volunteer
by sending an email to recruiters@gentoo.org, quoting this bug's
ID number as a reference.

Best regards,
Stu
