Newer version of the core selinux packages exist that include (though not mentioned directly on the website) compatibility with Python-3.X onwards.  For example, Fedora have included (and in some cases) split them into separate python2 and python3 packages respectively.

selinux policy version 2.20101213 in testing in hardened-dev overlay.  Can we close this?
