If you really NEED to paste such chunks, make sure they're readable. No bug for vlc, use lafilefixer (or a different method) to fix your la files. Emerge lafilefixer and run lafilefixer --justfixit[1]. Next time when you report a bug, put the entire category/pkg-version in the Summary, post your `emerge --info' in a comment (Description would be best) and *attach* the *entire* build log. [1] Note that newer unstable versions of sys-apps/portage:2.1 already fix this when installing, but for now you'll need to do it as described. |
