but thats not a fix - thats only a workaround i think the problem is related to this - http://www.mail-archive.com/mesa-commit@lists.freedesktop.org/msg24038.html "HWCursor" "true" isnt the cause - i could reproduce the flickering without the "HWCursor" "true" line in xorg.conf No need to CC: yourself on bugs that you reported. Please post your `emerge --info' in a Coment and supply the version of nvidia-drivers in the Summary. Well there was no more follow up and it looks like a newer version of xorg-server would have fixed this issue so closing this out. |
