xorg-server 7.9 and nvidia-drivers + "HWCursor" "true" - screeen flickers

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. startx
2. move the mouse around





the flickering can be stopped by removing "HWCursor" "true" from xorg.conf

but thats not a fix - thats only a workaround

"HWCursor" "true" isnt the cause - i could reproduce the flickering without the "HWCursor" "true" line in xorg.conf

Please post your `emerge --info' in a Coment and supply the version of nvidia-drivers in the Summary.

Well there was no more follow up and it looks like a newer version of xorg-server would have fixed this issue so closing this out.
