Comment from Rainer Gerhards: The requirement for Java has been removed in current versions. Also note that 5.4.0 was a bit of a problematic version, I strongly recommend upgrading to the current stable. @Marcin Mirosław: Hi, and thanks for submitting this bug. As bug #343085 is now resolved making app-admin/rsyslog-5.6.2 available in the tree, would you please try to see if this solves this bug here (as per upstream advise) ? Regards. Rsyslog-5.6.2 compiles fine. I'm closing bug. |
