I put the files into /usr/local/portage/media-gfx/lprof and emerged and it looks good! There are some errors:
QSettings::sync: failed to open '/root/.qt/qt_plugins_3.2rc.tmp' for writing

which is repeated over and over again, otherwise it works fine. I havent checked output of the icc profiles yet though, but it does create a .icc file for you.
Comment 6 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-12-09 04:10:19 UTC
Ah, got those error repeats on another box. It looks like if you haven't built it outside of portage, that happens because that location doesn't exist.
Comment 7 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-12-09 08:50:56 UTC
Commited to portage :)

I can't reproduce the "QSettings::sync: failed to open '/root/.qt/qt_plugins_3.2rc.tmp' for writing" bug, try to remove your .qt directory.
