The standard output from the failed emerge. |
This still what you get, of has a revision fixed this for you yet ? Nothing has changed, it still fails in exactly this manner. Well, it still works just fine here. I have tried it on all my boxes, some using CVS, some using rsync, and it works just fine. Try getting a more complete log of the merge ? Created attachment 2602 [details]

do you still have this problem, i see in your log that this file is getting installed. I havn't seen any problems with this any time i've emerged it, let me know so i may close bug or determine whether it needs further work |
It appears as though a key file is not being installed, though I can't be sure why. Here's the final output before crashing the build: >>> /opt/OpenOffice-1.0.0/program/libstore.so.3 -> /opt/OpenOffice-1.0.0/program /libstore.so.3.0.1 /usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: /opt/OpenOffice-1.0.0/program/gentoo-createdb.sh: No such f ile or directory !!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully. !!! Function pkg_postinst, Line 10, Exitcode 127 !!! (no error message) !!! pkg_postinst() script failed; exiting.
