It seems that pdf printing in landscape (horizontal)mode does not work in 
kghostview. 
I'm using 
 
related software: 
 
cupsd 1.1.19.r1 
kdelibs 3.1.4 (with USE="cups") 
kdegraphics 3.1.4 
ghostscript-7.0.5-r3  
foomatic-3.0.0 
 
hardware 
printer HP-640-C (Hewlett Packard) 
 
 
 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open your pdf file with kghostview 
2 file/print: in properties select "Landscape" layout 
3.and then print 
Actual Results:  
The file is printed in Potrait (vertical) orientation.

Maybe it's related to bug 33447 ?
It's worth trying a new version of ghostscript.
