During the emerge the following errors are reported:

sed: can't read /usr/portage/net-misc/dhcpv6/files/dhcp6x.initd.in: No such file or directory
sed: can't read /usr/portage/net-misc/dhcpv6/files/dhcp6x.confd.in: No such file or directory
sed: can't read /usr/portage/net-misc/dhcpv6/files/dhcp6x.initd.in: No such file or directory
sed: can't read /usr/portage/net-misc/dhcpv6/files/dhcp6x.confd.in: No such file or directory

As a result blank files are merged into the system:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Oct 26 15:43 /etc/init.d/dhcp6r
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Oct 26 15:43 /etc/init.d/dhcp6s
