KDE 3.1.4 ebuild doesn't list alpha or ~alpha please considder adding at least 
~alpha. It builds & runs for me, no problems with konqueror at least. 
(I do run this on a remote X station, as the system has no graphics adapter.)

kde 3.1.4 is marked stable on alpha as of today
