I have the same trouble too on amd64.
Gimp says in russian:

Lol )) It means that dependences isn't satisfied, but revdep-rebuild doesn't complain. I use KDE, Gnome is not installed.

The problem is supposed to be fixed in gimp 2.6.11 "GIMP 2.6.11 is a bug-fix release in the stable GIMP 2.6 series. Among other bug-fixes, it makes printing work with the recently released version 1.10 of the cairo library." After copying gimp-2.6.10.ebuild to gimp-2.6.11.ebuild and reemerging gimp the issue was solved. Fixed by adding 2.6.11 |
