This also happens on the "stable for x86" version, 6.2.3. Also works fine with -j1. Also, it installed a program (fetchmailconf) that requires tk and python's tk module, neither of which are installed, and I don't have tk in my use. Bad fetchmail, no cookie. Cant reproduce here. Both 5.9.14 and 6.2.3 compiled fine with -j5 and even with -j50. Please post the output of 'emerge info'. Sorry, squash and I forgot to add more info. This only seems to happen when the nls useflag is set, otherwise it works fine. Ah this is squash :) Ok, lemme try with USE=nls If it breaks we may just filter the MAKEOPTS on sparc platform... Works for me. USE='nls'. Tried with -j5, -j50 and -j100 :) Fixed in 6.2.5 |
