app-text/ghostscript-gpl-8.71-r6 is in portage now for almost two months. 

It seems to have fixed at least one security issue but I have not tested any exploit on it myself. See changelog for details.

I have used it on amd64 for the last two months as I was unable to print with currently marked stable version ghostscript-gpl-8.71-r1.
