Bug 340363 – media-sound/xmms2-0.7-r2 fails to find ffmpeg's avcodec.h

There seems to be a build system issue. Even though ffmpeg is installed, it's unable fo find avcodec.h:

Running waf-lite with -v, we find that this is the failing command:

Looking at ffmpeg:
# equery f ffmpeg|grep avcodec.h
/usr/include/libavcodec/avcodec.h

Including that makes the compile commandline work; adding it to the waf configure run makes the build complete.

This was found on alpha, but I doubt it's platform-specific.

Also, there are linker warnings after the build (implicit declarations) that reek of a missing -lsomething.

Turns out this was caused by using distcc. Closing as invalid - though it might be a good idea to detect FEATURES=distcc and throw a warning at the user.
