The current version of link-grammar in the tree (4.2.4) was released over 4 years ago and many new releases have been made since then.

Ebuild updates for link-grammar-4.7.0:
  * Use EAPI=3
  * Remove redundant information from DESCRIPTION
  * Revert keywords to testing
  * Add some USE flags (there are a few more configure flags that could be associated with USE flags if wanted)
  * Update dependencies
  * Add src_configure phase
  * Remove -j1 emake install limitation since the parallel issues were fixed

Changes from previous diff:
  * Inherit the correct java eclass

Note descriptions for the aspell and hunspell USE flags will have to be added to the metadata.xml files since neither are global USE flags.

I'm surprised this abisource package doesn't use enchant, but has its own choice of aspell/hunspell.
I vote that we move this package under gnome-office, and that we get Tim to co-maintain it. I didn't closely review the changes though
