ebuilds should never build with -Werror That may be true but the -Werror is upstream default (and if they want to keep their code that clean, why should we disagree? :) vapier, let's talk about this on irc. Anyway this exposes a real bug: the bundled copy of libiptc is built whenever iptables is not installed, even though the iptables plugin is disabled. I'll place an unconditional dependency on iptables in the ebuild now and will fix it in a next ebuild release with a patch. Keeping the bug open for now. Mike, please sync and try again in an hour, or alternatively just emerge iptables ... then it should build. (In reply to comment #3) After a resync I tried again and it builds now. As suggested, it pulls in iptables. Just a note that the stable collectd pulls in an unstable iptables (1.4.9.1-r2 on ~x86) Can't be because there is no stable collectd. :) Anyway, the real fix is in the tree now, so iptables is not needed anymore. |
