Gallery 3.0 is out, with many features.
Please bump it to portage,
i think many peaples have waited for that ...

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:  
gallery 2.3 is in portage, and is forcing php-5.2

Expected Results:  
gallery 3.0 is in portage, witch works with php-5.3

It looks like version 2.3.1 ebuild release has stalled, and php-5.3 is stable, so how goes gallery-3.0 ebuild?

I am interested in an upgrade to gallery-3.0 as I am still hampered by bug #342091.

Please check bug 353157, which contains a new ebiuld for gallery-3.0.1.
It would be nice, if you can check it and provide feedback.

Any news about this request? I would also like to see Gallery 3.0 on portage.

I too. But in the meantime you can use the ebuild, which is attached to bug 353157.
It should work for x86 and amd64.

php-5.2 is now hard masked, so I must update to php-5.3, so now stable www-apps/gallery-2.3.1 does not work with with a stable configuration.

The error is:
Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/gallery/bootstrap.inc on line 43

When will www-apps/gallery-3.x land in the tree?
