*** Bug 34002 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 34008 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 34019 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** After wheedling away awhile to play with different CFLAG alternatives and going nowhere, I rebuilt binutils and gcc with previous CFLAGS setting (CFLAGS="-mcpu=athlon-xp -O3 -pipe") and everything seemed to go as it should. I then succeeded emerge'ing qt-3.2.3, which had recently failed mercilessly and just to make sure, compiled openoffice-1.1.0 overnight. All went well. This morning I threw in a gcc-config-1.3.4 (no changelog?) for good measure and lo, emerge'd a working glibc-2.3.2-r9 to the merry tunes of buckwheat zydeco! Fortunately, I did not have to go the way of emerge'ing binary packages. |
