kde-base/pykde4-4.5.1-r1 failed to emerge,
despite bug 332503 reportedly resolving this issue
This is the same with either sip-4.10 or sip-4.11 installed

I've attached the build.info file as requested. 

More info :
This is a fresh install, minimal install disc then stage 3
PyQt4-4.7.7 is installed (+svg +opengl +webkit +sql +kde +dbus +X)
Portage updated to 2.1.9.13, doesn't help
pykde4-4.4.5 also fails with sip 4.10.2

Judging from build log, this one looks like a different issue.

This seems to be related to the build failure we're getting on 4.5.2 which upstream blames on PyQt4-4.7.7.
That's the latest issue reported on bug 338328

Yes - downgrading and masking PyQt4-4.7.7 allows pykde4-4.5.1-r1 to compile, so this is a duplicate of bug 338328 (apologies - but it may not have been rasied when I started searching).
