It's not actually a Gentoo-specific bug. It appears in Thunderbird downloaded from the Mozilla site as a binary package, and also in Thunderbird under Fedora 13 (probably in other Linux distributions too, but I don't have more of them at hand to test). So this bug can probably be closed, and the bug - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=574351 - voted for. Upstream patch is avalable and new release is in the making so we will pick it up0 in 3.1.8 But I still don't see thunderbird 3.1.8 in portage. The latest ebuild is 3.1.7-r2 from 1/2/2011. When 3.1.8 will be in portage? (In reply to comment #3) > But I still don't see thunderbird 3.1.8 in portage. The latest ebuild is > 3.1.7-r2 from 1/2/2011. When 3.1.8 will be in portage? > When it is released for the public we will add it to portage, not a minute sooner. (In reply to comment #3) > But I still don't see thunderbird 3.1.8 in portage. When 3.1.8 will be in portage? > If this is critical you could just copy http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-1.9.2/raw-rev/1ef884cf0f8a and place it in /etc/portage/patches/mail-client/thunderbird and emerge thunderbird again to have it apply to your local build. |
