Generally we categorise and place applications in the portage tree at our discretion, under the category we believe to be most fitting for the application. The GNOME menu entry is added by the application itself. There are plenty of other applications that do similarly, (eg evolution under net-mail, menu office). So the menu placement isnt an issue, are there any other reasons you believe it should be placed under app-office ? Consitancy reasons, and I thought Gentoo was placing it under app-office, not gLables, so no. Sorry :-[ So should this be marked 'wont fix'? yep, thanks. |
