What cups version do you have installed? Please attach a failing pdf file to allow us test (printing works fine for me). Also try on a new created user account to see if it also fails there. And take a look on /var/log/messages as you will probably see messages related with cups and printing. (In reply to comment #1) > What cups version do you have installed? And take a look on /var/log/messages as > you will probably see messages related with cups and printing. > Cups version; ================================================================= Package Settings ================================================================= net-print/cups-1.3.11-r2 was built with the following: USE="X acl -avahi dbus gnutls -java jpeg -kerberos ldap (multilib) pam perl -php png ppds python -samba -slp ssl -static tiff -xinetd -zeroconf" LINGUAS="-de -en -es -et -fr -he -id -it -ja pl -sv -zh_TW" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=k8-sse3 -pipe -DLDAP_DEPRECATED" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=k8-sse3 -pipe -DLDAP_DEPRECATED" I created new account and printing works fine. So, I think it's problem with configuration evince/cups. Ok, I removed evince config directory and delete/add printer in CUPS. All works good. did you upgrade to cups 1.4 recently ? (In reply to comment #4) > did you upgrade to cups 1.4 recently ? > No, I have CUPS 1.3.11-r2. |
