Description Nick Palmer 2003-11-19 10:42:20 UTC
I recently upgraded to Gnome 2.4, and now I can not use the launchers in a drawer. If I create a new drawer and put a launcher in it I can use that launcher until I log out and log in again, at which point it is inaccessable again.

I can open the drawer and see the icons, but if I click on one I get the move cursor, and moving the cursor causes the entire drawer to be dragged.

Also, the arrow at the top of the drawer to close it does not show though the widget still works to close the drawer. I am not sure if the lack of arrow is a new feature of Gnome 2.4 or another bug related to this one.

It's too bad as the drawer is one of my favorite features of gnome.

What version of the gnome-panel do you have?

Seems to be a dup for bug #30809, in which case, you should make sure you're using >=gnome-panel-2.4.0-r2.

Thanks. It is in fact thesame issue. Don't know how I missed that one in my search for duplicate bugs. Sorry for the duplicate.
